Doris Lin, Esq.

I am running for Township Committee because I love Freehold Township.
I grew up in Freehold Township and attended Laura Donovan School in the 1970s. In 1978, my family moved to Wall Township, where I eventually graduated as the valedictorian of my class at Wall High School. I moved back eleven years ago with my husband, and we are proud to raise our daughter here. My daughter now attends Laura Donovan School, and I've joined the PTO.
Although I am an attorney and a community activist, my law practice has taken a back seat to my main role as a stay at home mom. I never thought I would run for office, but then through my volunteer work, I saw too many local and county officials ignore the will of the people. I believe that one-party rule leads to complacency, arrogance and a disregard of the concerns of residents.
I still believe that Freehold Township can have open and honest government, eliminate unnecessary spending, and be an environmental leader.
